HERKIMER - Agatha McQuesten, 81, of 105 Protection Ave., entered into eternal rest on Monday afternoon, July 28, 2003, in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home.
She was born June 10, 1922, daughter of the late George E. and Eva Proper Lampman. Mrs. McQuesten had worked locally for Remington Arms Co., Ilion and the Empire Diner, Herkimer. At one time she owned and operated a restaurant in Kentucky. She has resided in Herkimer since 1982, coming here from Ohio. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Richard and Cindy Callister of California and David and Judy Callister of Westmoreland; three daughters, Diana Geno of Ilion, Kathleen Callister of Marcy and Mary Lynn and her husband Dennis Swart of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents two sons, Edward and William Callister, and one daughter, Janet Callister, preceded her in death. At Mrs. McQuesten's request all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
