HERKIMER - Albert Nadeau, age 68, of East Albany, Street, Herkimer, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday morning, February 25, 2009, in St. Elizabeths Hospital, Utica. He was born July 27, 1940, in Bennington,VT a son of the late Alfred and Viola Woodward Nadeau. Alfred was raised and educated in Cohoes. He had worked as a short order cook in Cohoes retiring in 1995. He then moved to Herkimer to be with his family. Albert always will be remembered as a caring person and will be truly missed. Surviving are two brothers John Fusco and his wife Angie of Wingdale, Peter Fusco of Orlando, Florida, three sisters Eileen Nadeau of Herkimer, Christine Doughtery of Washington D.C, Angela Fusco of Caroga Lake; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Harry Fusco, Edward Fusco, and a sister Eva Czech. The Family will be present in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court St., Herkimer to receive relatives and friends on Saturday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. With the Rev. Janet Gleason, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Herkimer/Little Falls officiating. Internment will be take place later this spring at Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer.
