Angela Sweet Cloud

Angela M. Sweet-Cloud, 68, of Little Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Born on July 25, 1958, in Little Falls, she was the daughter of the late George and Shirley (Nichols) Sweet. Raised in Mohawk, Angela graduated from Mohawk Central High School (Central Valley). She earned a Bachelor of Science in mass communication/media studies from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana, and later received her Master of Library and Information Science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Angela enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a librarian. She especially cherished her years as a Children’s Librarian at the Harris County Public Library in Houston, Texas. Most recently, she served as a Reference Librarian at the Utica Public Library, from which she retired.

She is survived by her sisters Shelley Johnson (Dan), Michele Holmes (Brad), and Nadine Tripple (Charles), as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Brenda Reynolds (Raymond), her brother Franklin Sweet (Irene), and her parents.

In accordance with Angela’s wishes, no formal service will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
