MOHAWK - Anna Marie Reynolds, 84, of North Washington Street, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, in her home.
She was born Nov. 14, 1920, in Bayonne, N.J., a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Hojnak) Pysz. On Jan. 29, 1938, she married Henry G. Reynolds. They shared a loving and devoted union of 46 years until his passing on April 4, 1983. Anna and her husband lived in Richfield Springs and Ilion until moving to Mohawk in 1958. For over 30 years she worked at Duofold Co. as a folder and then as an inspector.She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Mohawk. Living her life in the service of others, Anna was a member of the Episcopal Women group, the Crowley-Barnum American Legion Post 25 Auxiliary, and Mohawk Chapter 319 Order of the Eastern Star.She will always be remembered as a warm-hearted, caring and gracious person who always made you feel that you were special in her life. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Surviving are one son, Henry C. Reynolds and his wife Dianna of Kennebunkport, Me.; a daughter, Phyllis A DeLosh and her husband Walter of Ilion; one sister, Phoebe Sivak and her husband John of Liverpool; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, six stepgrandchildren, 14 step great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Piatek, in 1992.Funeral service will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Grace Episcopal Church, Mohawk. Interment in Mohawk Cemetery will be held next spring.The family will be present in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court St., Herkimer, to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.Memorial donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church or the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
