DOLGEVILLE-Arron David Sauer, age 52, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 27, 2021, at his residence. He was born on January 19, 1969 in Herkimer, son of the late Dean and Linda L. Everson Sauer. A lifelong area resident, he was raised in Herkimer and was a graduate of Herkimer High School. After high school he first made his home in Little Falls and later in Dolgeville. For many years Mr. Sauer worked at Herkimer Industries in Herkimer. Arron had a strong belief in God and was a member of the Ilion United Methodist Church. To all who knew Aaron, they will never forget his easy going manner and unforgettable smile. He will be sadly missed. Surviving him are his devoted fiancé, Nova York, three aunts, Joyce Hendricks and her husband John of SanMateo, FL, Sandra Seaman and Dolores Walawender both of Herkimer, many cousins, including four special cousins, Billy, Ted, Landon and Sarah Walawender. A graveside funeral service will take place later this spring in Oak Hill Cemetery in Herkimer at a time to be announced. Arron's family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Herkimer ARC and Hospice and Palliative Care for the care and compassion shown to Arron during this difficult time.
