GREENWICH-Arthur "Artie" Baum of Greenwich passed away November 29, 2019 at Saratoga Hospital. Artie was born on January 27th, 1944 in Little Falls, NY to the late Elgy and Lorretta LaSalle Baum; he was one of four children. He came to the Capital District DDSOO in the early 1980s and lived in various residences in Upstate NY throughout his life. Artie is best remembered by loved ones as an energetic person with a sharp wit and feisty personality. Artie enjoyed his friends and caregivers, his home, his large collections of corded bracelets, watches, and hats, spontaneous car rides, and all kinds of music. Artie touched many lives throughout his life, and he will be greatly missed for his spirit and lively character. Artie is survived by his support staff at his former residence, his many friends through Capital District DDSOO and CWI, his niece, April Sharp, who advocated for him over the years, and his sister and brother, Alice Leach and James Baum, as well as other relatives. Artie's loved ones will be holding a celebration of his life at his home on his birthday, January 27th, 2020 at 1 PM. Funeral Arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home, Herkimer.
