HERKIMER-Audrey Irene Ugi, age 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening January 20, 2021 in FoltsBrook Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on May 16, 1928, in Perth Amboy NJ, daughter of the late Stanley and Henrietta (MacArthur) Morgan. She was raised and educated in New Jersey. On October 23, 1947 she was united in marriage to Stephen R. Ugi at St. Mary's Church in Perth AmboyNJ. For many years they made their home in Waverly until this past year when she and her husband moved to Mohawk in 2020. Mrs. Ugi had a strong faith in God and was a member of Saint Joseph's RC Church in Highbridge, NJ. In her leisure time she found her relaxation doingneedlepoint and crocheting. She also had a love for animals. To all who knew her will always remember a selfless lady who genuinely cared for other while looking for nothing in return. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her many friends and family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She will be sadly missed. Surviving besides her husband, Stephen, are a son Ronald Ugi of Avenel, NJ, three daughters, Sandy Ugiof Southampton, NJ, Janice Colon and her husband Frank of Flemington, NJ, Sharon Polyak and her husband Michael of Mohawk, a brother, Raymond Morgan, of Lake Ariel, PA, one sister Phyllis Granant,of Port Reading, NJ, three grandchildren, Shane Polyak, Bridget Colon and Tegan Rand, several nieces, nephews and cousins and Pat Anderson of Southhampton, NJ, whom Audrey thought of as a daughter. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen Donnelly.​ A funeral service for Mrs. Ugi was held on Sunday January 24th in the Emanuel Episcopal Church, Little Falls.
