STARK- Barbara Bigelow age 55 of Travis Road,passed away on Wednesday morning October 2nd, 2002 in her home. Shewas born on January 18, 1947 in Poughkeepsie, daughter of Charlotte CrouseBuckhout Lorenston and the late Edgar Buckhout. She was educated in variousschools throughout the country. On December 11, 1965 she married LeRoy F.Bigelow in McKeesrock, PA. A resident of the Town of Stark since 1985 she andher husband came from Monkton, VT. For five years she worked for CatholicCharities in Oneonta as a certified home health aide. She retired in 1991. To all that knew her they will remember her warm smile. Shewas a friend to many and will never be forgotten. Surviving besides her husband of thirty-six years LeRoy areone son: Jimmy Lee and his wife Larissa Bigelow of Stark, a daughter: TammyElizabeth Bigelow of Guilford, her mother; Charlotte Lorenston of VA, twobrothers Robert and David Buckhout both of Rochester, one sister Kathy Cherkauerof WI, her mother-in-law: Blanche Garvin of Burlington, VT six grandchildren:Jamey, Jeremy, Destiny Bigelow all of Stark, Dianna, Jeremiah and Deanna Bigelowall of Guilford, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will be present to receive friends and familyin J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield springs onMonday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM on Mondaywith the Reverend Cindy Makarchuk, Pastor of the Stark United Methodist Churchofficiating. Mrs. Bigelow will be laid to rest in the Highland Rural Cemetery,Jordanville at a later time convenient to the family.
