SCHUYLER, NY - Barbara G. (Bunce) Kelly, 83, passed away peacefully with herfamily at her side, on Monday, March18, 2024, at the Utica Rehab and Nursing Facility, Utica, NY. She was born on September 9, 1940, in Ilion, daughter of the late Earl and Grace (Chiever)Bunce. Raised and educated in the Frankfort Schuyler School system and graduated with the class of 1958. On February 11, 1961, she was united in marriage to Dennis E. Kelly. For over 30 years she worked at Metropolitan Insurance Company in Utica as a Systems Analyst. For many years, she enjoyed family camping trips to Piseco and Pleasant Lake and the past 16 years spending winter months in Florida with her husband. Barbara loved to dance and travel and was also an avid reader and could complete a novel in one day. She will be fondly remembered for her dedication and kindness to those she met. She was always concerned about others, especially family. Her family was everything to her. She will be sadly missed. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Dennis of 63 years, daughter, Laura Lynn Williams Sulzinger and her husband Dan of Tampa, FL. twin sons Christopher and his wife Michelle of Rochester, Steven and his wife Kristine of West Henrietta, three grandchildren, Brad Williams of Tampa, Shawn Kelly and his wife Cass, and Chance Kelly all of Rochester, two Great-grandchildren, Blake and Madison Williams. A brother Brian Bunce of Newport, NY, sister Jane and her husband George Bressette of SunCity Center, FL, sister-in-law, Martha (Thomas) Bunce, brother-in-law Alan (Charlotte) Hyer of Frankfort, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Bunce,sister, Charlotte (Bunce) Hyer and grand-daughter-in-law Jessica Williams. There are no calling hours. Funeral service and interment will be private and at the convenience of the Family.
