WILLIAMSVILLE/ILION - Benjamin Glenn Edick, age 30, formerly of Ilion, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2015. He was born on January 16, 1985, in Bamberg, Germany son of David A. Edick and Susanne Goller. He attended Rampart High School in Colorado Springs, and finished his education in Herkimer. He received a certification in Building Construction from BOCES and a few college courses from Fulton Montgomery Community College. Until recently he had worked for Remington Arms as an assembler. He had a strong faith in God and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Herkimer. In his leisure time he enjoyed music, especially "The Grateful Dead", sports and was a devout NY Jets football fan. To those who knew Ben, he was a fun loving guy with a free spirit attitude and an unforgettable smile. His most cherished enjoyment was being an outstanding father to his daughter Natalee, who he loved dearly. He will be truly missed. Surviving besides his parents are his step-mother Janet C. Carlson of Colorado Springs, his companion Lauren Grainer and their daughter, Natalee Edick of Little Falls, paternal grandparents Shirley Edick of Herkimer and the late Robert W. Edick, maternal grandparents, Rose Marie and Claus Doering of Podeldorf, Germany, step-sister Marla Jones Kenley and her husband Scott of Colorado Springs, his aunt, Beth Fullington and her companion Nate Acker of Ilion, uncle, Robert D. Edick and his wife Jutta of Weitzendorf, Germany, nephew Kenton Kenley, nieces Addison and Faith Kenley all of Colorado Springs. He also leaves behind his cousins Amy Lynn Warren of Mohawk, Brett Fullington of Ilion, Dylan Fullington of Herkimer and Stephanie and Lilly Dorsch of Germany Funeral service will take place on Monday at 11:00 am in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer, with the reverend Jill Stellman, pastor of Christ Episcopal Church, Herkimer.
