FRANKFORT-Benjamin Jaquish age 92 formerly of Railroad Street passed away on Tuesday afternoon January 19, 2010 in Little Falls Hospital. Born on July 15, 1917 he was a lifelong area resident. Throughout his life he was known for his exceptional mechanical skills. For many years he had worked for the Don Reile Salvage Company in Herkimer and for ten years at Midtown Pontiac in Ilion before his retirement. Ben will always be remembered as a quite man who kept to himself. To those who knew him he will never be forgotten. Surviving are three daughters, Anita Jones of TupperLake, Beth Ann Brown and her husband Donald of Bainbridge, Sandra Tubia and her husband Dennis of Ilion, one son, Benjamin Fogarty of San Diego, CA, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Jacquishs funeral service was private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc., Herkimer.
