HERKIMER-Beth Ann Krick, age 47, of Folts Street, entered into eternal rest on Sunday afternoon July 17, 2005 in her home. She had the peace and comfort of her loving family at her side. She was born on October 22, 1957 in Ilion, daughter of the late Russell and Mary Molly Brown Randt. A lifelong area resident she was raised in Mohawk and was a graduate of Little Falls High School. She was an inspector for the Duofold Company in both Mohawk and Ilion. She retired in 1985 to care for her home and family.
She was a member of the Herkimer American Legion Post #38 Ladies Auxiliary. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo.
Beth first and foremost was a devoted mother. She was the strength that her children leaned on. She consoled the heartbreaks and disappointments, endured the ups and downs and was always there to listen, simply because she loved them. Beth will always be remembered for her warm smile that made her special to her many friends and family. She filled our lives with happiness and sweet memories that we will carry in our hearts forever.
Surviving are her loving companion Rick Hawkins, one son, Erik Krick, two daughters, Lisa Kay and Genny Hawkins all of Herkimer, a step-daughter, Nickole Hawkins, five brothers, George Snyder of Little Falls, Wayne Randt of Ilion, Raymond and his wife Jody Randt of Westmoreland, Carl and his wife Vicky Randt of Little Falls Gary Randt and Barbara of West Winfield, four sisters, Sylvia Snyder of Mohawk, Remona Raux of Mohawk, Elaine and her husband David Wolf of Columbus, OH, Carol and her husband Doug DeRosa of Longmont, CO, one step-grandson Ethan, a special niece, Rhonda Raux of Mohawk along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins and Beths very special friends Becky Eckler, Tammy and Billy Wood, Jim and Lynn Hawkins. Besides her parents a brother Larry Nylond Randt preceded her in death on May 20, 2004.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Pastor Jack Cogar will officiate. Interment in Mohawk Cemetery will take place at a later time to be announced. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service (2:00 until 3:00 pm).
