Obituary

SYLVANIA,OH - Beverly Y. Kaiser, age 78, of Sylvania, passed away at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sunday, March 24, 2013. Beverly was born in Richfield Springs, on May 7, 1934 to the late Delmer and Ruth (Swartz) Yerdon. She was a 1952 graduate of Richfield Springs Central School. She married Arthur N. Kaiser on February 15, 1964 in Sylvania, OH. Beverly was a secretary for 38 years, working 12 years in Syracuse. Upon moving to Sylvania, she joined Owens-Illinois in 1964 and retired in July 1990 after 26 years of service. Upon retirement, she was a member of the O-1 Golden Emblem Club. She was a member and officer of the American Business Women Association, Per-Ro-Ma Chapter and was the 1975 Women of the Year. She was a 35 year member of NSA, PSI and International Association of Administrative Professionals. She was a Certified Professional secretary. She was a 56 year member of Arbutus Chapter, Order of Eastern Star in Richfield Springs. She was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church over 35 years. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Arthur in 1995 and brother, Henry Yerdon. She is survived by, a brother Richard (Barbara) Yerdon of Marcy, a sister, Judi Ginder of Brentwood, TN, sister-in-law Barbara, widow of Henry, step-daughter, Janice Kaiser, step-grandsons, Scott Botsford of N. Ft. Myers, FL, and Paul (Chris) Botsford, step-great grandson, Payton of Leigh, FL, step-son James of Ft. Myers, Fl, and several nieces, nephews and a very special friend Cindy Tarka and her family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests tributes in the form of contributions to St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Sylvania, OH. A graveside committal service from the Book of Common Prayer will be on Wednesday May 18, 2013 at 2:00pm in Springfield Center Cemetery with the Reverend John Dixon Bartle, Rector of St. Johns Episcopal Church, Richfield Springs officiating. Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, Richfield Springs.
