Dolgeville – Beverly Jean Vickers, age 75 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in her home with her family at her side. She was born on February 9, 1949, in Herkimer, a daughter of the late Glenn A. and Ethel (Weakly) Sperl. A lifelong resident, she graduated from Owen D. Young Central School. For many years she worked for Daniel Green Company. She later went to work at Valley Health Service, retiring in 2014. Beverly was an independent woman, always willing to take on life's challenges. She is fondly remembered as a loving and caring person; she was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family. She was an avid animal lover and loved watching nature. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed. She is survived by her two daughters, Glenda Bliss of Dolgeville, NY and Monwella Bliss of Ilion, NY; grandchildren, Amanda Macrina and her husband Brandon of Jordanville, NY, Nathan Travis of Ilion, NY, Nichole Bliss and her fiancé Lucas Granger of Dolgeville, NY, Shawna Leroy and her fiancé Joey Carpenter of Dolgeville, NY, and Mathew Bulluck and his wife Jazmine of Dolgeville, NY; her great-grandchildren, Maebelle Macrina and Leeland Macrina, Corbyn Granger, Jaxson Carpenter, Mathew Bulluck Jr and Kopelynn Bulluck. She is also survived by her sister Linda Van Horne of Utica, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Richard A Vickers and sisters Donna Krinski and Joan Lowell. The funeral service was private at the convenience of the family.
