Obituary

ILION-Charles H. Goodding age 75 of Gage Road sat down on Monday November 25, 2013 in one of his famoushunting seats to peaceably fall asleep only to awake in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born on September 8, 1938 in Missouri, son of the late Cecil and Leona Riley Goodding. On July 3, 1958 he was united in marriage with the former Elizabeth Cotton in SanDiego, CA. In 1960, they moved to the area where they raised their four children. Charles retired from Titan Homes in 2000 and spent his retirement years doing what he loved: fishing, hunting, caring for his goats, gardening, telling stories and spending the summer working for his friend, Ron Fountain. To all who knew him he will always be remembered as a humble man who found pleasure in doing for others while looking for nothing in return. He was devoted to his family, church family, and friends.
