HERKIMER - Chester Walts, 79, of 104 North Washington St., formerly of John Street, Little Falls, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, in Folts Homes. He was born April 25, 1924, in Madison County. From 1933 he resided in Rome until moving to Little Falls in 1988. He was of the Protestant faith. He leaves behind many friends, especially Laura and Emery Morse of Little Falls, with whom he had resided before entering Folts Homes. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court St., Herkimer. The Rev. David Oertel, chaplain of Folts Homes, will officiate. Mr. Walts will be laid to rest in Westdale Cemetery, Camden, later this spring.
