HERKIMER-Christine Ann Ross age 44 of 315 North Prospect Street, formerly of London Towers Apartments, Ilion passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 6, 2009 in her home. Christine was born on May 19, 1965 in Lanstuhl, Germanydaughter of the late Walter E. and Marilyn M. Fogerty Horn. Daughter of a US Air Force family she was raised and educated in Germany and later in Ilion, where she graduated from Ilion High School. On April 1, 2009 she was united in marriage with Robert Jones Ross in Ilion. In June of this year they moved to their current residence in Herkimer. Mrs. Ross had a strong belief in God and led a devoted Catholic life. To her friends she will always be remembered as a warm, caring person with an unforgettable smile. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her loving husband, Robert, one son, William Baker and his wife of TX, a daughter, Tasha Baker of PA., two brothers, Michael and his wife Colleen Horn of PA, Walter E. Horn and his wife Rose of Troy, one sister Theresa Horn of Morristown, TN, two grandchildren, Samuel and Angel, several nieces including Wendy Horn of Troy along with several nephews, one great nephew, Timothy Edward Hall, and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in Annunciation Church,Ilion. The Reverend Leo Potvin will officiate. Interment will follow in Armory Hill Cemetery. Christines family will be present to receive relatives and friends inFenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street; Herkimer on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
