ROME-Cindi Vilardi Bruce age 57, - passed away after a short illness on Monday, September 21, 2020 in her home. Cindi was born on December 19, 1962 in Ilion, daughter of the late Howard and Beverly Rumril Dunn. She was raised in Mohawk and was a graduate of Mohawk High School with the class of 1981. On August 15, 2015 she was united in marriage to Donnie Bruce in Princess Ann, Maryland. After living in Maryland for over fourteen years they returned to Rome in 2016 and have resided since. In her leisure time she was an avid reader. She also liked the out of doors, where she would go for walks and ride her bicycle. To those who knew her she was a caring, loving and hopeful person. She was always willing to help others while looking for nothing in return. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family, especially her cherished six grandchildren. Surviving are her devoted husband Donnie, daughter, Jennifer Henderson and her husband Henry of Rome, three sons, Brian Sullivan of VT, Dylan Vilardi and his companion Marlaina Felix of Rome, Drew Vilardi and his companion Miranda Aldrich of Blossvale, a step daughter, Jennifer Davis and her companion Chris Frank of Herkimer, six grandchildren, her mother-in-law, Bonnie White and her companion Darwin Hazard, brothers-in-law and sisters-in –law, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Dunn. Calling hours for Cindi will be on Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court Street; Herkimer. A funeral service will follow immediately after in the funeral home with the Pastor Ethan Waller officiating.
