RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Conrad Michael Lupardo age 70 of Hugick Road, beloved husband of the late Ingeborg M. Furst Lupardo passed away suddenly on Tuesday afternoon May 1, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident on State Highway # 28 in the town of Columbia.
He was born on May 2, 1941 in Manhattan, son of the late Raphael and Catherine Bussiere Lupardo. He was raised and educated in Lewiston, ME.A resident of the town of Columbia since 1988, coming from Saugerties. Mr. Lupardo was a truck driver with Mitchell Transportation Company, the Teamsters Union and more recently with C. P. Craska Inc. in Ilion.He retired in 2001.
Conrad had a strong faith in God and was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Richfield Springs.To all who knew him he was a warm, caring and helpful gentleman.He enjoyed doing for others and looking for nothing in return.He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.
Surviving him are one son, RichardLupardo and his wife Lorie of Richfield Springs, a daughter, Debra Lupardo and her fiancAlex Corrales of Apache Junction, AZ, grandchildren Joshua Lupardo and his wife Michelle of Yorktown, VA, Conrad Lupardo and his daughter Chloe, Phillip Lupardo all of Richfield Springs, Devon Cogswell, Amber Hodge and her husband James and their children, Damion Lupardo, Willow Hodge, James Hodge and Meadow Hodge all of Apache Junction, AZ, two step sons, Charles Beck and his children, Forrest and Carson of Belfast, ME, Thomas Beckand his wife Jane of Homer, and their children Sonja and Oliver of Homer, AK, a step-daughter, Anne Cottingham of Austin, TX, one brother Michael Lupardo of Auburn, ME, three sisters Janet Roy and her husband Armand Margaret Pelletier and her husband Richard all of Auburn, ME, Doris Mathis of San Antonio, TX, several nieces, nephews, cousins and his Best Friend Roscoe his dog.
The family will be present in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street; Richfield Springs to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am in Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Richfield Springs.The Reverend Terence Healy, Pastor will officiate.Interment will follow in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Richfield Springs.
