RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Craig Allen Snyder age 34 of Taylor Road passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning October 26, 2009 in Mary Imogene BassettHospital, Cooperstown. He was born on November 14, 1974 in Cooperstown, son of Daniel Snyder and the late Patricia Warner Snyder. A lifelong Richfield Springs resident he was a graduate of Richfield Springs High School, class of 1993. On July 1, 1998 he was united in marriage with the former Melissa Lee Barringer in Richfield Springs. For the past fifteen years he has worked as an anesthesia technician for Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital. Craig had a strong love for the outdoors and in his leisure time enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was happiest when he was with his many friends and family especially his two cherished sons. He will always be remembered as a warm and caring husband, father, son and nephew with an unforgettable smile. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are his loving wife of eleven years Melissa, two sons, Austin and Conner Snyder, two brothers, Casey and Cole Snyder all of Richfield Springs along with several aunts and uncles. Funeral service will take place on Friday at 1:00 pm, in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the Mary Imogene Bassett Credit Union Memorial Account for the benefit of the Snyder family.
