RICHFIELD SPRINGS - David Charles Bennett, 69, passed away peacefully on, February, 5, 2018. He was born in Norwood, MA, a son of the late John D and Beatrice (Pettey) Bennett. Raised and educated in MA he graduated high School from Walpole, MA. In 1964 he joined the US Marine Corps. and was honorable discharged in 1968. For over 40 years he worked as a truck driver in various states, from California to Texas before moving to Richfield Springs 20 years ago. He retired from Bruce Hall Home Center in 2013. Surviving are three brothers and their wives, John A. and Nancy Bennett of Richfield Springs, Robert A. and Rachel Bennett of CA, Robert J. and Leila Gilmore of NJ, one sister, Lucille Todd, AZ, 11 nieces and nephews and close friends. Friends and family are invited to the Richfield Springs Vets Club, Lake Street, on Friday, February 16th from 4-8pm for a celebration of his life. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, Richfield Springs.
