HERKIMER - C. David Miller age 84 of Folts Street passed away on Saturday morning April 7, 2001 in Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. He was born on March 10, 1917 in Waterville, son of the late Davis and Hazel Miller. A lifelong area resident he was educated in Leonardsville. Mr. Miller was a dairy farmer; he had worked for the Francis Kelleher Dairy Farm retiring in 1964. He came to Herkimer from Middleville in 1975. On February 14, 1991 he married Evelyn Bunce in Boonville. He was of the protestant faith. Surviving are his wife Evelyn, two sons; Richard C. and his wife Cathy Shepard of Auburn, David A. Shepard of Newport, two daughters; Patricia and her husband Daniel Kazek of Boonville, Julie Shepard of Herkimer, two brothers; Howard Miller of Ohio, John Miller of Mohawk, a sister; Mary Jean Bowman of Ilion, three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; Robert Miller who died during World War Two, Stanley Miller, Ernest Miller and three sisters; Edna Tatum, Ruth Spencer and Betty Godlewski. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer with the Reverend William Stubba officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
