NEWBURGH-Donna L. Hildreth age 55 of Lakeside Roadformerly of Herkimer passed away on Saturday December 22, 2007 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in New burgh. Donna was born on November 11, 1952 in Herkimer, daughter of George and Ruth Harper Farrington. She was raised in Herkimer where she graduated from Herkimer High School with the class of 1970. On June 16, 1973 she was united in marriage with William B. Hildreth in the Herkimer Reformed Church. It was that year they moved to Newburgh where they have resided since. In 1988 she took a position as Teachers Assistant at the BishopDunn MemorialSchool in Newburgh where she has worked for the past nineteen years. When she lived in Herkimer Donna was a member of the Herkimer Reformed Church. In 1965 she became a member of the Silver Triangle until 1969 when she finished as Queen. Donna enjoyed singing and at one time had sung with her church choir in Newburgh. To all who knew her, she will always be remembered as a caring, loving and totally giving person. She genuinely enjoyed people as much as they enjoyed her. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her husband of thirty-four years William, one son Kevin Hildreth of Pawleys Island, SC, a daughter Kelly Hildreth of Newburgh, her parents George and Ruth Farrington of Herkimer, a sister Linda Lincourt and her husband Albert of Ilion, One sister-in-law, Betsy Hildreth of Herkimer, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be on Saturday at 3:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. The Reverend Mark Anderson, Pastor of the Herkimer Reformed Church will officiate. Interment will take place later this spring in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the Bishop Dunn Memorial School,Newburgh or the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence,Newburgh. A memorial service will be held in Newburghat a later date to be announced.
