CONWAY, S.C. - Dorothy Mae Barrett, 71, of Dongola Highway, passed away Friday morning, April 25, 2003. She was born Aug. 13, 1931, in Cobleskill, daughter of the late Myron J. and Anna Dorothy Mead. For many years, Mrs. Barrett was a self-employed hairdresser.Surviving are her husband, Paul Charles Barrett; one daughter, Donna Harrelson of Bat Cave, N.C.; three sisters and their husbands, Clara and Hal Smith of West Winfield, Anna Mae and Ray Massey of Bridgewater and Janet and Bob Wittko of Ash, N.C.; three grandchildren, Nichelle Barton, Shaine Wilcox and Jarad Wilcox; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James St., Richfield Springs.The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Barrett will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery on Thursday morning at 10 in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Richfield Springs.
