CANAJOHARIE-Dorothy Ann Sharp age 55 of Walnut Street beloved wife of James Sharp entered into eternal rest on Tuesday night October 12, 2004 in Saint Marys Hospital, Amsterdam after a long illness. She was born on April 12, 1949 in Little Falls daughter the late Elgy and Lorretta LaSalle Baum. Dorothy was raised and educated in Little Falls. On July 4, 1973 she married James N. Sharp in Wolfeboro, NH. Mrs. Sharp and her husband have resided in Canajoharie since 1978 coming from Mohawk. Dorothy loved her home and family. Her leisure time was spent crocheting and doing puzzles. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her many friends and family, especially her three cherished grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of fifty-eight years James, two daughters and their husbands Julie and Chris Foote of Schuylerville, April and James Sharp of Fort Plain, two brothers, James Baum of Little Falls, Arthur Baum of Saratoga County, a sister, Alice and her husband Michael Leach of Gloversville, three grandchildren, Maklia Sharp, Christopher Foote Jr., Jacob Foote, Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be on Friday at 2:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Mrs. Sharp will be laid to rest in Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm
