Eleanor Rose Kudrewicz (Striegel) 12/8/1937 – 8/17/2023 (85) Eleanor Rose Kudrewicz passed away on August 17, 2023, she was 85. Eleanor was born in Sangerfield, N.Y., Parents Edwin J. and Rosalind M. (Hirsch) Striegel. On April 23, 1960, she married her husband of 63 years, Edmund N. Kudrewicz. Eleanor is survived by her three children, Kenneth and Annette (Makohen) Kudrewicz of Ilion, N.Y., and their two dogs, Oliver and Emma, Katherine Kudrewicz of Erie, PA., and Daniel Kudrewicz of Herkimer, N.Y. She is survived also by her three grandchildren, Peter James and Adrienna (Maxwell) Kudrewicz of Clifton Park, N.Y., Kenneth Joseph Kudrewicz and his fiancé Ashley Holcomb, of Newark Valley, N.Y., and Christine Marie Kudrewicz of Baldwinsville, N.Y. Eleanor had many administrative positions throughout her career, including working for Herkimer County Stop DWI office, where she had the opportunity to get to know police enforcement officers from all over Herkimer County. Post career, she found other ways to keep herself busy, bike riding around the village, volunteering at the Herkimer Food Pantry, donating blood frequently and as a communicant at Sts. Anthony and Joseph. There are no calling hours, however friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Anthony & Joseph Church, 228 S. Main Street, Herkimer, N.Y. 13350, on August 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvery Cemetery, Herkimer, N.Y.
