HERKIMER - Elizabeth J. Betty Wong, 76, of North Main Street, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, in her home. She was born June 23, 1929, in Harrisburg, Pa, daughter of the late George Wilson and Carolyn Elizabeth Nichols Wong. Betty was raised and educated in Pennsylvania. She had worked in cosmetics sales for Gimbels Department Store in Philadelphia before moving to Herkimer in 1975. To her friends she will always be remembered as a loving, caring and hopeful person. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her brother-in-law, Albert A. Seyther of Haddonfield, N.J., one niece and a nephew. Besides her parents a sister, Dolores Jean Seyther, preceded her in death. At Betty's request, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc., Herkimer.
