SCHUYLER LAKE-Eric P. Schultz age 39 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 13, 2015 in his home. He was born on June 20, 1976 in Ilion, beloved son of April A. Schultz. A lifelong area resident, Eric was raised and educated in Richfield Springs. He was married to the former Renee Seamon. Beginning in 1996 he worked in heavy construction as a carpenter for Lancaster Development Company. In his leisure time he loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Eric will forever be remembered as a good natured, caring and helpful young man. He made friends easily and was always there for them. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and four cherished children. He will be sadly missed. He leaves behind his loving mother April Schultz March and husband Thomas March of Mohawk, three sons, Nathan, Landen and Brayden Schultz, one daughter Allison Schultz along with their mother Renee of Mohawk, a sister, Jodi Dyn and her husband Jake of Ilion, four nieces, Griffin, Averi, Lanni and Luca Dyn. Calling hours for Eric will be on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street; Richfield Springs. A private funeral service will take place at later time convenient to the family. A memorial fund will be set up for the Schultz children.
