RICHFIELD SPRINGS Esther M. Littlejohn, age 89, of Cary Park Road, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, June 30, 2002, in Valley Health Services Inc., Herkimer. She was born on Dec. 18, 1912, in Deposit, daughter of the late Charles and Martha Lord Linkroum. Esther was raised in Deposit and graduated from Deposit High School. In 1932, she married Ernest Littlejohn in Newburgh. Mrs. Littlejohn's life was devoted to her family and home. In her leisure time, she would crochet or enjoy the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Ernest; three daughters, Kathryn Senko and her husband, Andrew, of Richfield Springs, Margaret Stead and her husband, Philip, of Underhill Center, Vt., and Elizabeth Littlejohn of Bailey, Colo.; one brother, Theron Linkroum of Bridgewater, N.J.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, seven brothers and one sister preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2002, in the Church of Christ Uniting, Richfield Springs, with the Rev. William Harkins, pastor, officiating. The family will be present in the church one hour prior to the memorial service to receive relatives and friends on Friday. Committal services in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, will take place at a time convenient to the family. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are with J.
