SPARKS, NV-Evelyn Hamm Pattison age 85 of Parlanti Lane, formerly of Herkimer, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning May 26, 2004 in the Heartstone Skilled Nursing Facility in Sparks. She was born on February 20, 1919 in Ilion, daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Allie Rathbun Hamm. Evelyn was raised in Herkimer and was a graduate of Herkimer High School. In 1935 she married Harland Wright in Herkimer a blessed union of forty-three years until his passing in 1978. In 1979 she married Robert S. Pattison in Woodland, CA, he preceded her in death in 1996. Mrs. Pattison had worked as a bookkeeper for the Security National Bond Company and later for Doctor George Furman in Reno, NV, retiring in 1977. Mrs. Pattison was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Herkimer and the Evening Valley Star Chapter # 82 Order of the Eastern Star. She will be missed by many especially her family. Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Poston of Reno, NV, Linda and her husband Jerry Beauchamp of Dayton, NV, one granddaughter, Aileen Festas and a great granddaughter, Brenda Boberg of Placerville, CA, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and two husbands two sisters Ruth Robson and Dorothy Burns preceded her in death. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:30 am in Pine Grove Cemetery, Poland. The Reverend Wrightson Tongue, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Herkimer will officiate. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc., Herkimer.
