Obituary

JORDANVILLE -Frances T. Yaworski, 67, of Jordanville Road, died peacefully in her home on Sundayafternoon, October 1, 2000, with her loving family at her side. Born on March 8, 1933 in the town of Columbia, she was the daughter ofthe late George Hugick and Mary Bukatko Hugick Kline. She was raised in the town ofColumbia and was educated in Richfield Springs Central Schools. On October 20, 1951 shemarried Walter Yaworski in St. Josephs Church Richfield Springs. She and her husbandhave lived in Jordanville since their marriage. Early in her marriage she worked forNational Automotive Fibers in Little Falls. From 1957 until 1977 Frances and her husbandhad operated their own Dairy Farm in Jordanville. During the 1970s she also ownedand operated the Dairy Lane Ice Cream Stand on Route 28, town of Columbia. For 10 yearsshe also worked as a Real Estate agent with United Real Estate Agency, Mohawk. She was a member of St Josephs Church, Richfield Springs, and theLadies Mental Health Auxiliary for Emotionally Handicapped Children, VanHornesvilleChapter, the National Farmers Organization. For many years she volunteered tocollect money for the annual drives for both the American Cancer Society and the AmericanLung Association. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother,great-grandmother, and foster parent. Surviving her are her husband of 49 years, Walter; are two sons, WalterJ. and his wife Eileen Yaworski and John G. Yaworski all of Richfield Springs; fourdaughters, Frances Dorantes and her husband Alexander of Van Hornesville, Susan Jack andher husband Richard of Jordanville, Ann Healey and her husband Edward of Hobe Sound, FL,Linda Bambara and her husband Michael of Herkimer; fifteen grandchildren; agreat-granddaughter; four brothers Edmond and George Hugick both of Richfield Springs,Theodore Hugick of Blossvale, Bernard and his wife Nancy Hugick of Mohawk, several nieces,nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. JosephsChurch, Richfield Springs on Thursday at 9:00a.m. with the Reverend Terrance Healy,officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Rural Cemetery, Jordanville. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends in J.Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs on Wednesday 2-4 and7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Sue Campagna Herkimer CountyHospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
