HERKIMER - Francese B. Eddy, 87, of 690 West German St., formerly of Greenfield Center, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. She had the comfort of her loving family at her side. She was born July 15, 1917, in Marlo, N.H., daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Ann Noe. For a number of years Francese worked as a nurse's aide at the Mohawk Homestead in Mohawk. She retired in 1979.She is survived by three daughters, Margaret and her husband Clayton Sumner of Ravina, Sharron Matthews of Ilion, Paul Hagadorn of Herkimer; two sisters, Marilyn Weir of Greenfield Center, Loreanne Hughes of Poultney, Vt.; one brother, Frank Noe Jr. of New Hampshire; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, along with her devoted companion, Albert Smith of Edmeston.Besides her parents, a daughter, Miriam Stark of Schuylerville, preceded her in death in Nov. 2002.Funeral service and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc., Herkimer.
