SCHUYLER LAKE Francis L. Wilcox, age 72, of State Highway 28, passed away peacefully on Monday October 11, 2004 in is home. He was born May 26, 1932 in the Town of Litchfield, a son of the late Gardener and Eva Mae Bowden Wilcox. He was educated in Litchfield and had been a resident of Schuyler Lake since 1980 coming from Monticello. On January 26, 1963 he married Sarah Sparks in Hunter, NY, he was employed by the Lakefront Hotel in Cooperstown as a maintenance man. Surviving him are two sons, Delbert and his wife Kimberly of Otego, and Richard and his wife Lisa of Schuyler Lake; two daughters Pauline Key and her husband James of Butler, NC and Eva Garbera and her husband Charles of Otego, a sister; Grace Zarnock of Utica, nine grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Harry and a sister Marianne. Funeral service will take place on Friday, at 11:00 am in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James, Richfield Springs, with the Reverend John Young officiating. Interment will follow in Schuyler Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral
