HERKIMER – Frank Albert DeMartino, age 56, of Steuben Hill Road, passed away in his home on early Friday Morning, April 2, 2021. Frank was born on May 1, 1964 in Bethpage, Long Island a son to the late Ralph and Frances Boyle DeMartino. He was raised and educated in Farmingdale graduating from Farmingdale Senior High School. On June 26, 1987 he married the former Robin G. Murray in Hicksville, Long Island a blessed union of thirty three years. For seventeen years he was a custodian for the Frankfort-Schuyler Central Schools he retired in 2017. He was a member of St. Francis deSales Church, Herkimer. Frank enjoyed building plastic model kits, he was extremely handy around the house. He loved watching movies, very talented guitarist and he was a big fan of 60's and 70's Muscle Cars especially Chevys. He was a good friend to many and will never be forgotten. Besides his loving wife Robin, he is survived by a son Frank R. DeMartino of Herkimer, a daughter Melissa DeMartino and her husband James Getz of Frankfort, three brothers Ralph DeMartino of Farmingdale, Daniel DeMartino and his wife Patty of Farmingdale, Albert DeMartino of Syracuse and a special cousin Frank Scura. A funeral service for Mr. DeMartino will be on Monday April 12th at 6:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home Inc. 115 Court Street, Herkimer with the Reverend Mark Cunningham officiating. The family will be present in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00-6:00 pm two hours prior to the service to receive relatives and friends, following COVID guidelines.
