MOHAWK-Gary W. Mead Jr. age 23 of East Main Street passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 14, 2007 in Crossway Georgia. He was born on April 12, 1984 in Ilion, son of Gary W. and Jennifer Dunkel Mead. A lifelong Mohawk resident he was a graduate of Mohawk High School and had attended Herkimer County Community College. In January of this year he married the former Michelle Lagalbo in Mohawk. For three years he had worked at Arbys in Herkimer and most recently for the Remington Arms Company, Ilion as an assembler. He had a strong belief in God and was a member of the Little Falls Assembly of God Church. Gary had an extraordinary interest in computers and the internet. Much of his leisure time was spent playing with video games and watching movies. He enjoyed his many friends and loved his family especially his cherished daughter, Mackenzie. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife Michelle and their daughter Mackenzie of Frankfort, his parents Gary and Jennifer of Ilion, one sister, Jessica Mead of Mohawk, several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends John Green, Gene Washo, Roberta Liitt and David Gordon. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday at 3:00 pm in Fenner Funeral Home Inc., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. Pastor Joe Chamberlain of the Little Falls Assembly of God Church will officiate. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery will take place at 10:00 am on Monday. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 pm
