UTICA - Gloria J. Thibault age 56 of Jay Streetpassed away on Friday morning January 22, 2010 after a long illness. She had the comfort and support of her loving family at her side. She was born on December 7, 1953 in Ilion, daughter of the late Robert P. and Agnes Lina Joseph Schultz. A lifelong area resident she was raised and educated in Richfield Springs. Gloria had worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for The Pines at Utica Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation until July of 2008 when she retired due to ill health. Mrs. Thibault will always be remembered as a loving, caring and hopeful person. To her family she was the one they could depend on in good times and bad. She was always there for them with her support and love. Over the years she also took in and cared for children in need and was there to help them as well. Gloria was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by three sons, Joseph Thibault of San Diego, CA, Scott Schultz and Cody Wells both of Utica, five daughters, Rochelle Gasper and her husband Marcus of Jacksonville, FL, Amy Johnson, Dawn Johnson, Angela Johnson all of Utica and Cheyenne Schultz of Richfield Springs, four brothers, Robert P. Schultz Jr., David Schultz Sr., Donald Schultz and Henry Schultz, three sisters, Wanda Schultz, Roberta Ward and Margaret Schultz all of Richfield Springs, seven cherished grandchildren, Alijah, Jared, Austin, Marsean, Maniya, Brendell and La`Eligin along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be on Friday at 4:00 pm in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home; 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. The Reverend John Young will officiate. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends two hours prior to the funeral service Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm
