MOHAWK - Helen Richvalsky Robinson Brandon age96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, September 4, 2024 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer. She was born on 9/10/1927, the daughter of the late Michael & Anna (Dombrovsky) Richvalsky, Helen became a partner in the Mahaqua Farms Restaurant and later bought a restaurant and dance hall In Fort Herkimer called The Planation, she also was employed by Bank of America retiring in 1991. Helen loved being involved in many organizations, Volunteer of Meals on Wheels, Red Hat Dolls, AARP, Eastern Star, Book Club of Ilion, Schuyler Senior Citizens, Valley Helpers, Mohawk Valley Business Women, Mohawk Valley Historical Assoc, Body Dimensions, President of Cemetery Comm, Christian Woman's Club, Volunteer at Stanley Theatre and a member of the Mohawk Reformed Church. Helen is survived by her Sister in Law June Richvalsky of Herkimer, Step daughter Roberta Brandon of Texas, several nieces and nephews, many friends of McDonalds in Ilion, the YMCA and members of the Mohawk Reformed Church. Helen was predeceased by her brother Louis Richvalsky, sister, Mary Mead and brother, Steve Richvalsky, and spouses Ernest Robinson and Robert Brandon. A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 12th at 11:00 AM in the Mohawk Reformed Church. The family will be present at the church to receive friends and relatives from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service. Interment will be private.
