Helen Hubiak HuntRICHFIELD SPRINGS-HelenHubiak Hunt, 83, formerly of Linden Avenue, died peacefully on Sunday, March 26,2000 in Folts Homes, Herkimer. She was born on February 15, 1917 in Pricedale,PA, daughter of the late Thomas and Katie Chomo Hubiak. A lifelong area residentshe was a graduate of VanHornesville High School. On November 21, 1942 shemarried Lester Hunt in St. Johns Chapel, Richfield Springs. A blessed unionof 34 years until his passing on December 7, 1974. For ten years Helen wasemployed by the Beechnut Co. in Canajoharie. She was a member of St. JohnsEpiscopal Church, Richfield Springs, Surviving here are three brothers and theirwives, Walter and Madalyn Hubiak of Richfield Springs, John and Mildred Hubiakof Jordanville and Joseph and Rose Hubick of Van Hornsville; a niece, fivenephews and several cousins. Besides her husband Lester she was preceded indeath by her son Lester Hunt in 1997; two sisters, Mary Oeser and Anna Kuzemchak.
