HERKIMER - Herbert J. Anderson, 93, of Harter Street, died on Sunday December 17, 2000 in Little Falls Hospital. He was born on December 28, 1906 in Corona, son of the late Herman and Anna Eisinger Kurz Anderson. Herbert was raised in Corona and graduated from Corona High School class of 1921. An honorably discharged US Army veteran he proudly served our country in World War II. For fifteen years he was a Postal Clerk and Sorter for the US Postal Service, retiring in 1976. He had resided in Herkimer since 1990 and was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving him are one sister Mildred Anderson of Herkimer, several nieces and nephews. It was Herbert's request that funeral and committal service is private. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home Inc., Herkimer.
