Town of Warren - Hilton K. Acers, age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, July 30, 2012 in Valley Health Services. He was born in Utica, a son of the late George Kenneth and Joanna Shaul Acers. A lifelong area resident he was a graduate of Richfield Springs High School. Mr. Acers was a dairy farmer all his life.He ran the family farm until the early 1970s and continued to maintain the fields until 2008.On February 22, 1975 he was united in marriage to the former Edith Pett-Dunn. He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Edith, a step daughter Frances Dunn-Carson of Lake Waccamaw, NC, step son Frank Dunn of Oneida Lake, step granddaughter, Melissa Bicknell of Little Falls as well as several other step-grandchildren throughout the county. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the Springfield Center Cemetery.There are no calling hours.
