ILION Ingram Ingy Ingraham, age 56, of Rockwell Drive, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 25, 2008, in Little Falls Hospital. He was born on September 3, 1952, in Herkimer, a son of Grace (Bowman) and the late Walter Ingraham. A life long area resident he attended Ilion schools. He was presently employed with Herb Philipsons Army and Navy Store in Herkimer. A NASCAR fan, and sports enthusiast, he especially enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs Football games. To all who knew him, he will be remembered for his friendly manner and willingness to help others. Ingram enjoyed life and never complained. His family was foremost in his life. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed especially by his family. Surviving are is mother Grace Ingraham of Ilion, two sons, Jason Ingraham and his wife Jamie of Mohawk, Dewey Ingraham and his wife Tanya, two brothers Vaughnn Ingraham, Gary Ingraham and his wife Roberta, three sisters Alice White and her husband Donald, Joyce Sanderson and her husband Jack, Jeanette Young and her husband Jack all of Ilion, six grandchildren, Ashley, Shiann, Dalton, Brendan, Briana, and Aliee, one great grandchild, Ryliee, a devoted companion of seventeen years, Sandy Fikes and her family AnnMarie, Michael, and Brianna many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his fathers he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Walter Ingraham, two sisters, Linda Schrader and Jean White. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in Oak Hill Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
