RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Irene A. Ulinski age 84 of Tower Street, Waterville formerly of Manlius passed away on Saturday August 11, 2007 in Harding Nursing Home, Waterville. She was born on July 24, 1923 in Camden, daughter of the late Ernie and Martha Waffer. Irene was raised and educated in Camden. From the time she was a young girl Irene worked as a waitress in various restaurants including Howard Johnsons and in later years at the Pancake House in Sylvan Beach. She retired in 1997. In 1945 she married Benny John Ulinski upon his coming home from World War II where he had served with the US Marine Corps. In 1954 they moved to Manlius coming from Utica. Mr. Ulinski preceded her in death on July 10th of this year after a devoted union of sixty-two years. Irene had a strong faith in God and led a devoted Catholic life. To her friends she will always be remembered for her warm smile and caring manner. She will be truly missed. Funeral service will be on Friday at 11:00 am in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home; 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. Nancy Brown, Parish Life Director of St Josephs Church, Richfield Springs will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Josephs Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Josephs Church, Richfield Springs. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
