James D. DuncanSchenectady-James Duane Duncan, 42, died on September18, 2000, in Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.He was born on April 11, 1958 in Ilion, son of Frank Duncan andthe late Shirley Slater Duncan. A lifelong area resident, he received his education in theMilford school system. On October 19, 1983 he married Deborah Schultz. He was a mechanicand farmer. For over 16 years he worked for the Drake Farms in Milford. James enjoyed deerhunting and the demolition derbies.
Surviving him are is father Frank Duncan of Schuyler Lake; hiswife Deborah, his children, Amy Duncan of Ilion, and James and Nicole; a grandson, DevonJames Duncan; 4 brothers and their wives, Steven and Carolyn Duncan, Frank Jr. and TeenaDuncan all of Cooperstown, David and Darlene Duncan of Maryland, Joseph and Joyce Duncanof Herkimer; two sisters, Terry Kilts of Milford, Dawn Covey and her husband Fred ofCherry Valley; many aunts, uncles, including a special aunt and uncle Carol and IrvingBoyer of Stratford; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in J. Seaton McGrath FuneralHome, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs, with the Reverend John Youngofficiating. Interment will follow in West Winfield Cemetery. Calling hours on Wednesdayevening from 6-9 p.m
