James John Kurkowski, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 3, 2016. A lifelong Richfield Springs resident he served in the US Navy during WW II and was honorably discharged in 1946. On November 6, 1948 he married the former Barbara Ann Webster. Jim was well known in the community where he had served as Town Justice, Town Supervisor, and on the Village Board. There are no calling hours. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. Private Service
