Richfield Springs- James RobinsonStewart, 81, of Hogs Back Road, Cullen passed away Sunday morning December 17,2000 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion.He was born on February 19, 1919 in Utica, son of the lateJames O. and Mabel M. Robinson Stewart. He was raised in Cullen and educated inRichfield Springs. A self-employed dairy farmer he had owned and operated hisown farm. Later in his life, he became the co-owner/operator of the Bella VistaRetirement Home in Richfield Springs. He was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was amember of the Dairymens League and a former member of Richfield Springs LodgeNo. 482 F & AM. Surviving him a sister Martha and her husband Ronald Unsinn ofIlion, a sister-in-law Katherine Stewart of Whitesboro, a niece Karen Macrinaand her family of Little Falls, 5 nephews-Donald Unsinn and his family ofFrankfort, Douglas Unsinn and his family, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Bill Stewartand his family of Vernon, David Stewart and his family, of Steuben, DonaldStewart and his family of Holland Patent. He was preceded in death by hisbrother Irving in 1996. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 7pm in J.Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James St. Richfield Springs, with the Rev.Victor McKusick, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Ilion officiating.The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service onWednesday. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes willbe provided at the funeral home.
