Jean O. Fox, age 83, of North Canton, OH, passed away Sunday evening, April 24, 2011 in Affinity Medical Center. A daughter of the late George and Ruth (Young) Ough she was born October 21, 1927 in Cooperstown. Jean was raised in Warren and graduated from Richfield Springs High School. For thirty years she worked for the Marine Midland Bank in Herkimer, retiring in 1987. Jean was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church for many years and former member of the Herkimer Reformed Church prior to moving to Ohio. She is survived by her daughter, Frederica L. Winter of North Canton, OH; grandchildren, Ashley and Erik Winter also of North Canton, OH; a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Dick Hyde of Herkimer; nephew, Rick (Andrea) Hyde; niece, Amy Stidham and great nieces and nephews from New York, Virginia and South Carolina. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick M. Fox; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Allen Sinclair; son-in-law, Michael Winter; niece, Karen (Hyde) Paul and nephew, Craig Stidham. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in Springfield Center Cemetery, Springfield. Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the Alzheimers Association.
