SCHUYLER LAKE- Jerry L. Duncan age 29 of Brady Road, Burlington Flats passed away in Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown on Monday evening May 14, 2007 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on May 18, 1977 in Cooperstown son of Edward and Janet Bond Duncan. A lifelong area resident, he was educated in Richfield Springs Central School. To his family the years hold precious memories of Jerry and the unique person that he was. He had a strong love for the outdoors, enjoying hunting, four wheeling, snowmobiling and motorcycling. Jerry was happiest when he was surrounded by his many friends and family especially his three nieces and one nephew. Nothing can ever detract from the joy that we had in knowing him. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are his parents, Edward and Janet Duncan, one brother, Kevin Bond of Burlington Flats, two sisters and their husbands, Crystal and Ryan Dibble of Richfield Springs, Melissa and Mark Ubner of Burlington Flats, two half brothers, Kenny and Jake Duncan, Jerrys girl friend Megan Bartl, his three cherished nieces, Alexandria Bond, Shania and Jenna Ubner, one very special nephew, Todd Ubner along with many cousins. Funeral service will be on Saturday at 9:30 am in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home; 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. The Reverend John Young will officiate. Interment will follow in Schuyler Lake Cemetery. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm.
