John Dziadik RICHFIELD SPRINGS-John Dziadik 83 of 7 Timmerman Avenue, St Johnsville, formerly of Tri Town Road Mohawk, died on Wednesday evening, November 1, 2000 in St Johnsville Nursing Home. Born on March 31, 1917 in Seymour, CT, he was a son of the late Frank and Kristina Khowance Dziadik. John was raised and educated in Seymour. He was married to Hilda Elnora Guyer. She passed away on May 14, 1988. For forty-five years he owned and operated the Dziadik Dairy Farm in Mohawk, retiring in 1989. Mr. Dziadik has resided in St Johnsville since 1997. He was a member of the VanHornesville Coop. Surviving him are a brother Theodore Dziadik of Mohawk, one sister Anna Smagalski of Richfield Springs several nieces and nephews. Beside his wife Hilda he was preceded in death by three brothers; Michael Dziadik, Joseph Dziadik, infant Walter Dziadik, four sisters; Julia Janowitcz, Olga Fox, Helen Miller and Mary Kurkowski.
Funeral service will be on Monday at 10:00 AM in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James Street, Richfield Springs. The Reverend William Harkins pastor of the Church of Christ Uniting, Richfield Springs will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Rural Cemetery, Jordanville. The family will be present in the funeral home to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to The Community Hospice of Amsterdam or the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
