John Louis GalloRICHFIELD SPRINGS - John LouisGallo, 85, of RD#1, died on Wednesday, August 30, 2000, in Bassett HealthcareCooperstown. He was born on December 27, 1914 in NewYork City, the son of the late John B and Luigia Gallo. He was raised andeducated in Union City, New Jersey where he graduated High School. On September11, 1937 he married Beatrice McCraken in Union City, NJ. For many years heworked as the Terminal Manager for Maislin Bros. Trucking firm in New Jersey,retiring in 1980. He and his family have resided in Richfield Springs since 1960coming from North Bergen, NJ. John was a loving father and devoted husband. Surviving him besides his wife Beatriceof 63 years are 2 sons, John A. Gallo of Ridgefield, NJ, Philip Gallo and hiswife Diana of Canton; one daughter Lydia Prospero of Ridgefield, NJ; twogranddaughters Dawn Shevlin and Dina Prospero. Entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery,Syracuse will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the American LungAssociation. Arrangements are with J.
