JORDANVILLE- John Hubiak, formerly of 215 Travis Road, Jordanville, died at the Folts Home, Herkimer on June 30, 2006. He was born on April 7, 1925, the son of the late Thomas and Katie Chomo Hubiak. He was a graduate of the Owen D. Young Central School, Van Hornesville, and a Naval World War II veteran after which he became a career dairy farmer. He was a communicant of Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church of East Herkimer. Surviving are his wife Mildred, a brother Joseph Hubiak and his wife Rose and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be on Monday 10:00am at FENNER FUNERAL HOME INC., 115 Court Street, Herkimer. The V. Reverend James Jadick will officiate. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery, East Herkimer. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00pm with Parastas at 4:00 p.m.
